WATCH REPAIRS:

Repair costs vary according to the condition, grade and movement type. Many watches I service require more than the routine cleaning and adjustment. Rust removal, repair of broken parts or repairing problems caused by unskilled "watch repairers" will increase the labor cost. You will be given a firm cost once we've had the opportunity to inspect your watch.

I service a great many vintage and antique watches. Many of these older watches have not been properly serviced in a long time or have been mishandled. Most of them require at least a new mainspring. Other common problem areas are worn bearing surfaces, cracked jewels and bent hairsprings. Some of these problems are repaired as part of a normal service. Some require additional parts and labor and are charged accordingly.

We have a large inventory of parts and sources for hard to find materials.
We also manufacture parts if needed.

Dial Refinishing starts at $95.

Fancy, two-tone or chronograph dials start at $155.

Dial refinishing can be a good option for dials which are in poor condition. However, you should have realistic expectations. Even an excellent redial can usually be distinguished from an original dial. It can be a good solution and generally people are satisfied with the results. If your original dial is showing a little age or has a minor scratch, it may be better to leave it alone rather than have it refinished.
