Waltham Appleton Tracy 18-Size Keywind Item #13165 Price $575
Spectacular condition on this C-1884 Waltham Appleton Tracy Keywind. The 18-size movement is signed "Appleton Tracy & Co., Waltham, Mass". It features a 15 jewel, signed "Adjusted" movement with micrometer regulator, and rose gold timing and 4 gold meantime screws. At 134 years old, the silveroid case is in amazing condition. This one also features one of Waltham’s more interesting dials. The white porcelain dial is double sunk, signed “Waltham Am’n Watch Co.” Surrounding the dial is a perfect railroad track border, accented with red 5-minute markers - something you almost never see on a keywind!
This one features an outstanding double sunk porcelain dial with the HUGE bold hour markers. The purple blued steel hands are correct and getting hard to find! The watch is housed in a 10K Rolled Gold Plate case by Keystone; it shows some brassing, but overall looks very good given its age.
*Photos are of the watch in its current, unrestored state.

Once you've made your purchase, please contact us so we may discuss the restoration and case refinishing.
Please allow 1-2 weeks after purchase for service to be completed.
Our goal is to achieve what we refer to as "Sympathetic Restoration"; in other words, bringing the watch back as close as possible to its original appearance without the need to remove all signs of its former life. We don't want to dramatically change its history.
During the restoration, we only use we only use period-correct parts, and in most cases, genuine factory parts from the same time period as the watch.
