Breitling Chronograph Item #1612 Price $1625

This 1970's Breitling chronograph features a great original dial. Other than the normal aging of the color, it is in great condition. The signed movement is based on the Lemania cal. 1873. The same movement found in Omega Speedmasters (cal. 861) from the same time period. The stainless steel signed case measures 39.5 X 43.80 without the crown. The case shows some signs of use (it's about 40 years old). It has been refinished to match its original appearance. The original dial and hands look great, but the hands do have a few paint chips as seen in the pictures. It was decided to keep their original finish rather than repaint them. Overall a rarely seen Breitling chronograph in great used condition. Fully serviced, the watch runs as it should and all chronograph functions work perfectly. The comes on a new black leather sports strap.
