Rolex Submariner ref. 16800 Item #1631 SOLD

From time to time I get requests for a Sub in as used, untouched condition so I decided not to refinish this one. The movement has been serviced and all gaskets replaced. The case and bracelet have been cleaned, but not refinished and it shows it. It retains all the bumps and bruises of daily life. The watch functions perfectly and keeps great time. It has passed both a vacuum and pressure test to ensure the case is sealed. The chronometer grade movement is the cal. 3035 with 27 jewels, quick-set date and automatic winding. The original dial and hands show some aging and the luminous has darken to a nice patina. It comes with its original Oyster bracelet, model 93150 and I have installed new spring bars. The serial is 9303XXX from 1986. A perfect watch for daily wear or for a collector who wants their watches untouched by refinishing.
