Waltham Silver WW Item #1645 Sold

Very rare and all original this Waltham Sterling Silver WWI wristwatch is in outstanding condition. The watch dates to C-1915 (95 years old!). It features a Fahey's sterling silver case with integrated crystal guard, snap-on bezel, hinged caseback and "onion" style crown. The case measures 33 mm not including the wire lugs. The dial is enamel with sub seconds and original matching hands. The signed Waltham movement is running great and keeping very good time. The watch has just gone through a complete service including a new mainspring. The case was not polished at the time of service. It did not need it. It was only cleaned. A new old stock glass crystal was also installed along with a new deBeers black leather open-end strap. This completely original, very rare American made timepiece is ready to wear.
