Rolex Bubbleback All original Item #1652 Price $2850

Outstanding, all original condition. Rolex Bubblebacks like this are rarely seen. Nobody has tried to make it look pretty. The case looks like it was never polished. The dial is original (NOT refinished) as are the hour and minute hands. All the luminous is also original from when the watch was new. Even the original signed Rolex Oyster crown remains.

The stainless steel case, ref. # 2940 is in very good condition considering its age. There are some signs of wear as seen in the pictures, but keep in mind it's original, more than 60 years old and we have not refinished the case. Also the pictures are much bigger than the watch itself so any flaws will be more visible. The watch has been correctly serviced including a new mainspring. The crystal and gaskets were also replaced, but that's it. That's all this watch needed. Well, other than new brown leather strap that matches the dial beautifully.

Bubblebacks in this condition are getting pretty rare, especially with nice clean movements and original dials. Many have their dials refinished or have suffered water or other damage, Not this one!
