Wakmann Chronograph item #1712 Price $1525

All original and in great condition this1960's Wakmann Chronograph features the Valjoux cal. 730 movement with 3 registers for recording seconds, minutes, and hours. There is also a calendar with day, date, and month. The Valjoux 730 is the final, most advanced version of the famous 72C. This one has shock protection and the beat error was adjustable at the regulator. Just a few of the improvements over the older version. Many think this is the finest manual wind chronograph movement ever made.

The Stainless steel screw-back case is in great condition. It measures 37 mm without the crown. The dial and hands are original, never refinished and in wonderful condition. It even has its original signed crown. Also in great condition. The crystal is new as is the black leather strap.

This watch has just received a full service including a new mainspring and crystal. All functions work flawlessly, and the watch keeps very good time. Everything is in great condition, but for two minor items. There is a small age spot at the edge of the dial between the 25th and 26th date markers and there are marks on the caseback from an opener that slipped. Very minor issues on a 60 year old watch in all original condition. Please take a look at the pictures.
